We find it personally and professionally rewarding to improve people’s smiles, self-confidence, and overall health. We do this through comprehensive dental care, including the latest cosmetic and restorative techniques.
We’ve made neuromuscular dentistry an integral part of our practice. This dental approach has greatly benefitted patients suffering from temporo-mandibular disorders (TMD), headaches, sleep problems and facial pain.
With the field of dentistry changing so rapidly, we never consider our education complete. In order to keep current with the latest developments in our field, we complete significantly more than the required amount of continuing education each year. We have completed extensive coursework at Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI Global), a renowned postgraduate dental school.
Our ultimate goal is to help you achieve an ideal bite and a beautiful smile that can literally change your life in ways you never thought possible. See testimonials from people whose lives we’ve impacted, and contact us to discuss how we can improve your smile and overall quality of life.
We would love to hear from you, learn about your goals, and discuss the various ways we can help.
Below you can meet Dr. Max, Dr. Ariana, and Tina, as well as take a look at our office.
Max Ebrahimian, DDS
I have been practicing dentistry for over 35 years, and my goal has always been to help my patients live healthy, pain-free lives while having the most beautiful smiles possible. In order to achieve this goal, I have constantly sought out the latest information and education.
In 2007 Tina, Ariana and I took a course that changed the approach to our practice, and quite literally saved our youngest daughter’s life. The course we took looked at the impact of the jaw and facial structure on fundamental health and issues related to TMD, chronic facial pain, and sleep apnea. As we learned more, we realized that our youngest daughter Elena’s snoring and constant fatigue were likely due to obstructive sleep apnea, a condition in which the airway is blocked during sleep. Upon returning home, we ran tests and discovered that she did indeed have sleep apnea.
Fortunately, we were able to take action and correct her condition. This experience spurred us on to take advanced coursework related to dentistry and orthodontics with an emphasis on jaw alignment and; airway. As a family practice, we are now at the top of our field in this area and are sought out by patients across the country. Through our greater awareness and training, we’ve helped a great many patients overcome debilitating issues and helped them achieve beauty, health, and a newfound quality of life.

Ariana Ebrahimian, DDS
My goal with every patient I see is twofold: to give them a beautiful smile that best complements their facial aesthetics and restore them to proper health and function.
With my advanced training in neuromuscular and sleep disordered breathing dentistry from the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI Global), I am uniquely qualified to diagnose and treat many problems that can be the result of an improper bite, poor oral posture, or a constricted airway. These include headaches, temporo-mandibular disorders (TMD), facial pain, orthodontic problems, and sleep problems. Experiencing first-hand my sister’s battle with obstructive sleep apnea made me especially passionate about working with children to avoid these problems later in life.
It’s very rewarding to know that I can offer real solutions to patients who, oftentimes, have spent a great deal of time and energy in trying to get help for their problem.

As a journalism and communications major in college, I never saw myself in the dental field. But after managing the family business for 20 years, I have come to enjoy every aspect of my position. My commitment to the practice extends far beyond the front desk. Having attended over 90% of the continuing education that the doctors attend, I am one of the few dental office managers who truly understands patients’ unique dental needs and treatment options. I find it very fulfilling to act as a concierge for all of our guests – whether walking people through the new patient experience or catching up with long-time patients – my job allows me to share the excitement the entire team has for our profession here at Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry.
Jeanne Shimizu, RDH
Myofunctional Therapist, Buteyko Breathing educator
In almost 40 years of practicing dental hygiene, I have never enjoyed my profession as much as I do at Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry. Working with Dr. Max and Dr. Ariana is a breath of fresh air. The level of care we are able to provide, thanks to our countless hours of continuing education, is truly astounding. I’m excited to be on the leading edge of hygiene, offering laser assisted periodontal therapy and seeing results I have never seen in hygiene before. I would not trust my teeth to anyone else, and I was overjoyed at the results I received from my Invisalign® and whitening treatments.
For almost 10 years, her role has included being the in-house myofunctional therapist and Buteyko Breathing educator. I am passionate about training with the leading experts in both fields, I am well-equipped to help people of all ages, and especially children, form proper oral habits and maximize their health for a lifetime.
Having grown up in Scotts Valley and been a longtime patient of Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry myself, I was so excited to join the team as a dental assistant. Getting to know each of our patients and making that personal connection makes each day so enjoyable. I especially enjoy working with our pediatric patients to make their first visit to the dentist a fun and positive one.
Olivia Ambris, Patient Coordinator
After earning my degree in Health Administration and working for a time in home health care management, I came to Ebrahimian Integrative Dentistry excited to work more directly with patients. I enjoy getting to know our patients on a personal level, helping make every one of their experiences here a positive one.
